Kishtwar Transmission Limited (KwTL) project is envisioned to strengthen the power transmission infrastructure in the Kishtwar district of J&K. Once operational, Kishtwar Transmission Limited (KwTL) project will help in power evacuation of HEP- Pakaldul, Kiru and Kwar to rest parts of the region. This will help bridge the demand-supply gap and improve the reliability of the power supply in the region. This project comprises a 400/132kV GIS substation at Kishtwar and 1 km approx. 400 kV Kishenpur-Dulhasti LILO (Line in Line out) transmission line.
Kishtwar Transmission Limited (KwTL) is an inter-state transmission system (ISTS) project, envisaged by Ministry of Power (MOP), is envisioned for the transmission of surplus power from other states to Jammu and Kashmir during peak demand periods. This will help bridge the demand-supply gap and improve the reliability of the power supply in the region.
The 1 km approx. power transmission project comprises a 400/132kV GIS substation at Kishtwar and 400 kV Kishenpur-Dulhasti LILO (Line in Line out) transmission line. The transmission system will be used for evacuation of 1000 MW of power from Pakaldul Hydro Electric Project to the Kishtwar substation.
Once operational, KwTL will further strengthen the power infrastructure and usher economic development in the J&K region.

The increase in extreme weather events and rising sea levels are unmistakable signs of climate change. Roughly 850 million people still live without access to electricity, which is the foundation of sustainable development.
How can we meet the growing demand for electricity while protecting our climate and make planet a better place?
In recent years, new capacity across the solar value chain has become necessary to support the PV market’s growth. However, the capital required to establish and scale-up wafer, solar cell and solar module manufacturing facilities is considerable.
Together, these factors pose a serious challenge to sustainable operation and growth of global solar manufacturers.
While improving the yield and performance of solar energy products, our PV industry experience enables us to provide in-depth material sourcing, financing and supply chain expertise for every step.
Our Solar business now provides the preferred channel to market for some of the world’s leading PV manufacturers and our solar professionals work jointly with partners on enhancing product features, lowering lead times and improving cash flow.
